My turn to blab about stuff on the blog

Sorry, been busy getting a draft of Nancy and the Boss Part Two ready and it is going a bit slow. Ten-thousand words should be a piece of cake, right?  Too bad readers do not enjoy random words as much as well thought out passages.

Sports and Entertainment (but I repeat myself) News:
The guys at the Sports Pub laughed when I went out on a limb around New Years Day and predicted Favre's retirement this year.  Well, who is laughing now? Regis caught me by surprise.

Tech News:
Steve Jobs is taking some sick-leave and Apple stock is tanking as a result.  Suki has a post below about iPad/G3 hackers getting busted.

Tuscon Arizona -
Now, about the latest Tuscon news. My blog partner has done a great job here linking up the mountain of information about Prince/James Eric Fuller that has emerged since he was carted off by security for threats against Tea Party spokesman Trent Humphries.  If you follow my Tweets, most of this will be a rerun.

Jared Lee Loughner should send (Prince) James Eric Fuller flowers and a thank you note for drawing blog attention away from him.  Fuller is an alleged gunshot victim of Loughner from Loughner's shooting spree during an event for Representative Gabby Giffords (D-AZ).

Rather than being thankful for not being injured worse, or even directing understandable anger at Loughner, Fuller went on a craziness tour to rival the one Loughner was on since 2007, when he decided to target Rep. Giffords.

Fuller did a live interview with the CBS Morning Show and  kept the insanity low:
"I felt the round enter my knee. I didn't know about the fragment in my back. I was incredulous. It was a dream-like sequence, a bad dream-like sequence. I -- I hadn't ever had any kind of trauma experience at that level before. And I didn't know -- I didn't quite know how to react. I felt like we were in for more, and possibly to be given a coup de grace by this madman that was so vigorously exercising his Second Amendment rights."
Bolding mine.  Note to uneducated readers, the Constitutional limitation on the government as enshrined in the Second Amendment does not include the right to go on shooting sprees.

Fuller did a Democracy Now interview for the Pacifica Radio Network, where he did a verbal dump of mainstream media accusations toward Sarah Palin and others, accusing them of being accomplices to murder:

I was in shock, and I just wandered out into the parking lot. And a woman was pushing a cart full of groceries out there. And I said to her, "I’ve been shot." And she just looked at me like I was crazy. I was taken to the hospital. And even though I was sedated and everything, I stayed up—I was staying up, stayed most of the night. And I didn’t know how to calm myself down, so I wrote down the Declaration of Independence, which I memorized some time ago. And that did help to organize my thoughts. And the first thing that I wrote down and what my reaction was to it was: "How many other people? How many other demented people are out there? It looks like Palin, Beck, Sharron Angle and the rest got their first target. Their wish for Second Amendment activism has been fulfilled—senseless hatred leading to murder, lunatic fringe anarchism, subscribed to by John Boehner, mainstream rebels with vengeance for all, even nine-year-old girls." There was a little girl named Christina Green, nine years old, who is one of the deceased.
Bolding mine.  That was on 14 January 2011.  On the same day, MSNBC's very own Keith Olbermann expressed his support for Eric Fuller's "naming names" of who was "responsible" for the shooting.  I keep hearing from Leftists online, and in person, that nobody was blaming Palin, Limbaugh or the others and this is all made up by conservative talk radio to smear the "progressives."  Judge for yourself.
Three days later, on 17 January 2011, and still not content with his new found radio fame, Eric Fuller expressed his views of what should be done to Republicans to the New York Post.  This was about 24 hours before he was pulled from the set of an ABC Town Hall meeting:
"There would be torture and then an ear necklace, with [Minnesota US Rep.] Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin's ears toward the end, because they're small, female ears, and then Limbaugh, Hannity and the biggest ears of all, Cheney's, in the center," Fuller said.
Thus my new nickname for James Eric Fuller: #earnecklace.

Around this time, Fuller had become a darling of the Left.  A true hero, in their view.

Still not content with this level of fame as an ambassador of the new civility, Fuller attended a Tuscon Town Hall Meeting about Loughner's shooting spree and sat directly behind Tea Party spokesman .  No official word yet if Fuller sat there intentionally, but he spent the entire meeting spewing insults, being disruptive and hurling death threats at Humphries.  The descriptions were very similar to the way Loughner was described as acting in class.  Fuller was taken away, while calling everybody around him "whores," for a 72 our psychiatric examination at the end of the meeting.

At that point, the Left became somewhat silent.  Other than Bob Jacobson echoing Fuller's misunderstanding of gun ownership.  After cheering Eric Fuller and warning of evil Right wingers lurking in the wings to "destroy him," they changed their direction back to attacking the Tea Party.  No sooner than issued a statement offering to either press charges, or not press charges, depending on what was best for Eric Fuller to get better, the Left attacked it.

Don't worry, we are getting close to the current end.

Apparently, Fuller finally figured out that he might be in real trouble this time, as opposed to all the other times he engaged in bizarre, threatening and generally scary activity that he got away with.  Yet another similarity to Loughner, or perhaps another window into how the Pima County Sheriff's Department deals with its local crazies. That God they finally did something about this one.  That aside, Fuller allegedly issued an apology, through a woman friend, for his death threats:
(Also in this post)
Ariz. Shooting Victim Apologizes for Outburst - CBS News:
"Fuller apologized through his girlfriend, Dorothy Deruyter.

He has been in a hospital since being involuntarily committed Saturday for a mental health evaluation but wrote a statement and called Deruyter.

Fuller apologized for his 'misplaced outrage.'

Fuller was one of 19 people shot when a gunman opened fire Jan. 8 at a meet-and-greet for Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. The congresswoman was critically injured and six people were killed.

Fuller was shot in the knee and back, and drove himself to the hospital, where he spent two days.

Deruyter said Fuller has no family or children, and was coping with the shooting almost entirely on his own and lost his temper."
As I have been noting on Twitter, CNN has been touting the "apology" since it was released.  However, the Tweets about it lead readers to believe that it came from Fuller, rather than his friend .
Timothy Cooper
Arizona shooting victim James Eric Fuller sent his apologies Monday for telling a Tea Party leader, "you are dead." -
They also fail to mention that Fuller is still silent about his other hateful statements.

In yet another odd twist, there is mounting evidence from Greg Howard that Fuller changed his first name from Prince to James.  Not a big deal on its face, but Howard found a United States Supreme Court case for Prince Eric Fuller, with an underlying charge of sodomy.
As Drudge says, developing.
