Keystone Cops or The Obama Administration on Egypt? (Video)

A quick history to catch everybody up on the current Egypt situation before I dive into recent events.

As soon as someone read one of the Egypt protest signs on 25 JAN 2011 to President Obama, he started praising the protesters and threw Mubarak under the bus.  The signs were in English.

President Obama waffled sending conflicting messages, on a 12 hour schedule, to the world.

Now for the funny part, the tragic version of funny. The Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, described the Muslim Brotherhood (known by its front name as the Council on American-Islamic Relations CAIR in the USA) thus: "The term Muslim Brotherhood is an umbrella term for a variety of movements. In the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried al-Qaeda as a perversion of Islam."

His office later backtracked (from the same link) in an equally incorrect, no, stupid manner:
Jamie Smith, director of the office of public affairs for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence later said in a statement to ABC News: “To clarify Director Clapper’s point - in Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood makes efforts to work through a political system that has been, under Mubarak’s rule, one that is largely secular in its orientation – he is well aware that the Muslim Brotherhood is not a secular organization.”

Clapper's congressional testimony is in the video below. Now, dear Director, The Muslim Brotherhood/CAIR was responsible for the assassination of Prime Minister Mahmoud al-Nuqrashi in 1948 and the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They were an outlawed political party in Egypt for a reason.  They have the same political qualities as their political children, Hamas.  Their 'efforts' to work through the political system are not unlike the efforts that the National German Socialist Workers' Party in 1920s Germany.  It is a snow-job that Clapper fell for, or maybe Clapper is perpetuating.

Every statement from the current administration smacks of a misinformation campaign to clean up the reputation of radical Islam.  The same misinformation that was spread about Marxism during the cold war.  A parallel to radical Catholics is hard to find, but there has been a war on La Cosa Nostra for decades.  That is a group that is primarily Catholic, but nobody uses their religion as an excuse to leave them alone.  However, they are not hijacking trucks, running black markets, and human trafficking in the name of their religion either.

Muslim Brotherhood/CAIR flag.
The Muslim Brotherhood/CAIR: if anybody wonders why this notation is used whenever either organization is mentioned in any post on this blog, go to the link and scroll down to page 15 for the translation.  They are one-in-the-same.  If that is too basic, see this for more details and dot connecting (via Kate Mc Hugh Bolger). Now the Obama Administration is giving MB/CAIR a makeover before Congress as if they are the Egyptian Rotary Club.

To make matters worse, the Director of the CIA, Leon Panetta announced that Mubarak was going to resign yesterday.  His source?  American media reports.  We spend a good chunk of change to get more authoritative sources than that.  Maybe, just maybe, if Mubarak was not in the process of being dragged by the bus Obama threw him under, our guys could have gotten the straight dope from his guys, or him.

At a Capitol Hill hearing, Leon Panetta, director of the Central Intelligence Agency, told lawmakers there was "a strong likelihood that Mubarak may step down this evening."
Just off by one day there chief.
