L.A. County blows. Pima County, here we cum!

Bob Jacobson: In Tucson, One Week Later: "The (Gun) Show Must Go On!": "Exactly one week after the attempted assassination in Tucson of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, Pima County, in which Tucson is located, is hosting a gun show. And not just any gun show: according to blogs on the right, Crossroads of the West is in Tucson having been 'thrown out' of 'radical' jurisdictions like Los Angeles County.

The L.A. County supervisors decided that Crossroads was a den of domestic arms dealers inciting irresponsible gun use in the nation's largest county. So Crossroads fled across the border to open in Tucson. Its logo: crosshairs. Nice symbolism. Good timing."

The story above was probably #1 with a bullet at HuffPo.

Nice hysteria.  I shall wager to guess that the level of violence at the L.A. County gun show was much lower than in East L.A.

Yes, rifle scope crosshairs there.

No, not rifle crosshairs.

I love the old west! Like my rat rod?

Suspicious vehicle on the National Mall leads police to close off area - @TBD Latest | TBD.com:

"The National Mall is closed between 4th and 7th streets while authorities investigate a suspicious car that is parked in front of the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum, a U.S. Park Police spokesperson said Wednesday."

The vehicles has been parked in a handicapped spot for two days near the Air and Space Museum.

Update: FOX reported that a handgun and rifle were found in the vehicle as police continue to inspect the contents.

Additional update: An Arizona man has been arrested on gun possession charges related to this incident.  He was in a wheel chair but able to walk.  For his sake, maybe he is connected with Sen. Webb (D-VA) and will get off Scott-free.

Following up on an earlier Pentagon article.

Start looking for those Duke boys. They only hurt property, not people.

Ballistics link shootings at Pentagon, Marine Museum - ABC News:

"Ballistics testing from recent early-morning shootings at the Pentagon and the National Museum of the Marine Corps show a single weapon was used in both incidents. There was another overnight shooting on Oct. 25 or 26 at the Marine Corps Recruiting station in Chantilly, Va. Ballistics testing is now underway to see if those shots also came from the same weapon."
