The Note: Obama, Palin And Arizona: A Tale Of Two Speeches - The Note:
"BOTTOM LINE: Sarah Palin, once again, has found a way to become part of the story."

The above load of bull is from a pair of ABC news directors on January 12, 2011, after days and days of Sarah Palin being accused of having responsibility for Jared Lee Loughner's homicidal actions.  Can't you two even try to lie in a convincing manner anymore? Sarah did not say anything publicly about this until yesterday, after idiots like you made her the undeserved center of the story.

The mainstream media has become such an out-of-touch echo chamber that it is beyond a joke.  Sarah was placed in the center of the story by you people, your industry and a two-bit leftist sheriff in Pima county Arizona.

Suspicious vehicle on the National Mall leads police to close off area - @TBD Latest | TBD.com:
"The National Mall is closed between 4th and 7th streets while authorities investigate a suspicious car that is parked in front of the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum, a U.S. Park Police spokesperson said Wednesday."
The vehicles has been parked in a handicapped spot for two days near the Air and Space Museum.

Update: FOX reported that a handgun and rifle were found in the vehicle as police continue to inspect the contents.

Additional update: An Arizona man has been arrested on gun possession charges related to this incident.  He was in a wheel chair but able to walk.  For his sake, maybe he is connected with Sen. Webb (D-VA) and will get off Scott-free.

FOX 5 has this story too.

Tea Party guy with a grudge about the Senate still in control of the Dems or false alarm?  Couldn't be another Times Square-style bomber, could it?

An Abominable Decision - Mark R. Levin - The Corner on National Review Online

An Abominable Decision - Mark R. Levin - The Corner on National Review Online

This is a typical example of a judge stating the correct legal standard, but then ignoring it and applying the test in a fashion completely divorced from the facts of the case in order to reach a predetermined decision.

First, the court states correctly that the sort of constitutional challenge brought here — a facial challenge — is the most difficult challenge to mount successfully. It requires that the plaintiff (here the federal government) must demonstrate that the law can never be applied in a constitutional fashion. The test cannot be met with hypothetical arguments — yet that is exactly what the court relies on in its ruling: the assertion that the AZ law will impose an impermissible burden on law enforcement, which is to determine the legal status of a person detained pursuant to the AZ law on the reasonable suspicion that the person is in the country illegally. The court does not provide any empirical basis to support its conclusion. It’s pure supposition.
