Oh Yea, Jared Lee Loughner is soooooo Tea Party!

1. He was into Sarah Palin, his Facebook Page said so, therefore it is her fault.
No, actually someone else put up a FB page for him and spelled his name wrong, coincidentally the same way AP spelled it wrong when the story broke, and Palin's name was spelled wrong too. Not very Tea Party.

The "target" marks pre-date Palin by quite a few years and the marks on her page are digital map markers, not a depiction of rifle scopes. Even on the scopes in movies, the cross hairs stay in the circle. Compass points do not. If the critics were right about the Tea Party, even a nut like this would notice that. Not very Tea Party.

Well, maybe if he took time out of his busy days of listening to Metal and burning weed*, maybe. But none of his classmates noticed that. They did notice his appreciation of Johnny Darkly Not very Tea Party.

3. His YouTube page featured alternate currency advocacy. Well, yes it did. I have not been able to confirm the report that he wanted to use weed as the alternate currency. Mother Jones says he wanted to use gold or silver and the Guardian infers that he did. Could be Tea Party-ish.

Not according to anybody talking about knowing him. They said he was a disruptive leftwing pothead. Not very Tea Party.

5. He hated the government and burned flags! Both true, according to his writings and videos. Still, not very Tea Party. Seeking responsible government and disliking the past regime enough to vote them out is a far cry from shooting congresspersons. Burning flags is so not Tea Party.

Revisiting that "don't trust the government" point, it would be wise to put that Pima County Sheriff Dupnik at the top of the list. Yes, the one who was blaming Palin and others for what may be more his fault than anybody else's. Loughner did not need Obamacare, he need to get arrested for the threats he was spewing for ages before this incident and then he would have been denied a handgun. If he would have been medically deemed unbalanced, same thing.

The sheriff has been editorializing and politicizing the event since he took the podium to report on the incident. His blaming of radio personalities and bloggers is a pre-emptive strike because Mr. Dupnik knows this tragedy lays at his feet and his office. Six people died on his watch and he could have prevented it. He needs to step up and start apologizing to the families of the victims instead of spinning this event to serve his own political agenda.Jared Loughner, pronounced by the Sheriff as Lock-ner, saying it was the Polish pronunciation. Of course he meant Scott or Irish but that isnâ(TM)t the point. The point is he and his office have had previous contact with the alleged assailant in the past and that is how he knows how to pronounce the name.Jared Loughner has been making death threats by phone to many people in Pima County including staff of Pima Community College, radio personalities and local bloggers. When Pima County Sheriffâ(TM)s Office was informed, his deputies assured the victims that he was being well managed by the mental health system. It was also suggested that further pressing of charges would be unnecessary and probably cause more problems than it solved as Jared Loughner has a family member that works for Pima County. Amy Loughner is a Natural Resource specialist for the Pima County Parks and Recreation. My sympathies and my heart goes out to her and the rest of Mr. Loughnerâ(TM)s family. This tragedy must be tearing them up inside wondering if they had done the right things in trying to manage Jaredâ(TM)s obvious mental instability.Every victim of his threats previously must also be wondering if this tragedy could have been prevented if they had been more aggressive in pursuing charges against Mr. Loughner. Perhaps with a felony conviction he would never have been able to lawfully by the Glock 9mm Model 19 that he used to strike down the lives of six people and decimate 14 more.
*I am all for legalizing MJ, but very much against substance abuse. Use does not equal abuse.

Koran-B-Que for Mosque Move Swap
Listening to Roe & Roper on 890 WLS-AM, Chicago, the Gainesville, Florida Minister who was going to burn donated Qurans on 9/11/10, has cut a deal with the Ground Zero Mosque Imam to have the Mosque relocated in exchange for calling off his Koran-B-Que. Also, Donald Trump offered to purchase the Ground Zero Mosque property in Manhattan.

Of Cowering White Liberals and the most Juvenile Religious Segment Ever Invented
(Updates at the end)
First, they came for the people who opposed a bunch of questionable characters building a Mosque at Ground Zero, Manhattan and all who objected were labeled 'racists.'
Really? That was first? Well, pretty close to first. Next they came for the Florida minister planning a bonfire of Korans. That one has to be second, nothing else of note was between.
This is the face of Islam under siege in a post 9/11 world. This is a siege? According to some, yes. Let us not forget that Americans may be slaughtered if the oxidization process of this paper pile is accelerated, according to a high-ranking uniformed liberal. Why? Because Middle-East and Central Asian Muslims are the biggest babies on earth, that's why.
Of course, this is the way any religious person would act when their holy books are intentionally destroyed, right? Hows about we takes a look at a few other items:
North Carolina Church burned non-King James Bibles in 2009. What was the body count from that? Zero?
How about a burning Bible video from 2007 -
What? Nothing has happened with that? No way!
Burning bible video from 2008 must have ruffles some feathers of the religion and gun clutching set.
No?
Another video of Bible burning, this one with a catchy title that should have swept the internet like wildfire:
Lots of casualties from that one?
Maybe Bible burning is in a Holy loophole somewhere, like burning soiled American flags. Surely heads would roll and body parts would fly if someone shot a bible with a gun, right?
Wrong. No marching in the streets, no fits, no fights. Nothing like when Newsweek lied and people died.
So, just what is all this fuss about, especially from religion hating liberals? Quite simply, Western White liberals are a bunch of fradiae-cat pansies that like to lump people together in odd categories. To them, all Asians are yellow, all Republicans are White, all Muslims are "people of color" and everybody who is not White and/or Christian is oppressed by White Christians. We can skip the Jews for a moment until the liberals need some mysterious bully to explain why there is no actual evidence for their position.
A big one with liberals is Africa being a nation, rather than a continent. At least that is the way they use "African" much of the time, the same way everybody else uses "Irish". This is a key concept to grasp, since they seem to think all Muslims are from the Middle-East. Maybe those are the only Muslims liberals care about, making the rest invisible. Actually, they are not invisible. They just aren't causing trouble like the Middle-East Muslims.
Something both Rush Limbaugh and David Horowitz have observed over the years, the left really does not care who their allies are, as long as those allies hate either America or Western Civilization. Thus, the bomb making, Jew exterminating, USA attacking, French car burning Muslims are pals of the liberal. And by liberal, I do not mean people like me and my friends who enjoy erotica, wish for the day when drugs are legal (even if we don't plan on doing any) and would rather not get married before enjoying sex with others. I am talking about the liberal left, Socialistic, Nazis with speech codes and an unquenchable self-hate for their own countries.
What about these "moderate Muslims" we all keep hearing about? Those would be the ones that Arab Muslims call "monkeys" and go around killing in greater numbers than they kill non-Muslims.
Back to the White liberal, another pet thought of theirs is that everybody in the South USA owns a gun (or arsenal), a Confederate flag, goes to Church, lives in a trailer, Southern cities are trailer parks, makes moonshine, is always barefoot unless at a wedding, married a close relative and prefers to have sex with a willing sibling. If someone meeting that description is not located in the South, then they are just a redneck. There must be a lot of rednecks at Reason magazine, the biggest online and print advocate of close-relative intercourse.
Remember all those riots when Confederate flags were burned? That's okay, I don't either. The liberal will tell us that never happens, even though it does. Don't miss the next event! Here is an article about it from the Leftist mind. See Red State for a sane take on that one. I hope someone from the press is keeping the body count stats beginning Sunday.
Some think that burning an American flag and flying a Confederate flag are "similar in many ways" (my count of similarities is zero, not quite the same as many, IANAL).
So, enlightened, delicate readers, when will burning the Koran be as popular as burning the Bible? When will burning the Koran be as 'patriotic' as burning flags?

"HERNDON, Va. (WUSA) -- It's a trick bartenders have performed at Jimmy's Old Town Tavern for 13 years. But on July 24, two bartenders were arrested after performing a fire breathing trick.News video clip below, with video of the fire breathing bartenders.
'They're more than bartenders. They're entertainers,' says Jimmy Cirrito, bar owner.
Cirrito says after 12:30 a.m. on July 24, the two bartenders performed the trick and then were arrested.
Justin Fedorchak, 29, and Tegee Rogers, 33, are charged with three felonies:
-- Manufacturing and using an explosive device.
-- Setting a fire capable of spreading.
-- Burning or destroying a meeting house.
They were also charged with several misdemeanors by the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department."
A WMAL-630AM radio report stated that the Fire Marshall "received a letter from somebody" who complained.
Several years ago, Jimmy's was the focus of FOX News Network's Judge Napolitano when Fairfax County Police arrested several of Jimmy Cirrito's patrons for public drunkenness while drinking in the bar. Reports at the time said the police gave field sobriety tests to the guests while still inside the bar. There was some question whether the county police had jurisdiction inside the town limits of Herndon.
Around the time of the questionable Fairfax County actions in Herndon, the same county police force illegally confiscated guns from patrons carrying them openly in Champps of Reston, later returned the handguns, issued an apology, and informed their officers with a memo about Virginia law concerning the carrying of firearms openly in establishments that serve alcohol.
Update: Reason is covering this story now, without the history of Jimmy's vs. Fairfax County authorities.
Series tie-in: This is a good location for John and Suki to visit in a future story. Maybe after a day on the range. In general this would not be an issue in the environment of 2030s Northern Virginia.
