New satellite imagery shows the extent of damage to the Iranian military compound that blew up earlier this month, was extensively damaged, the Institute for Science and International Security said after an analysis of new satellite imagery.

ISIS compared a November 22 image from DigitalGlobe to one from September.

"Some buildings appear to have been completely destroyed. Some of the destruction seen in the image may have also resulted from subsequent controlled demolition of buildings and removal of debris. There do not appear to be many pieces of heavy equipment such as cranes or dump trucks on the site, and a considerable amount of debris is still present," according to the analysis posted on ISIS website.

Mystery explosion rocks Iran city

A large explosion has been reported in the Iranian city of Isfahan as the regime issued conflicting reports apparently designed to deny any suggestions of a sabotage attack on its nuclear facilities.
Officials gave varying accounts of a "huge explosion" in the ancient city, which hosts one of Iran's main facilities for refining uranium in its nuclear programme. 

While some sources told news agencies there had been a blast on military facilities, others said there had been a fireball at a petrol station. 

Residents of the city were independently telling relatives and friends overseas that the city had been shaken by a massive blast in the early afternoon. 

The reports immediately prompted speculation that Iran had suffered another sabotage attack, just two weeks after a blast at a missile base gave rise to similar suspicions.

An explosion rocked the western Iranian city of Isfahan on Monday, the semi-official Fars news agency reported, adding that the blast was heard in several parts of the city. 

According to reports, frightened residents called the fire department after the blast, forcing the city authorities to admit there had been an explosion.Residents reported that their windows shook from the explosion's force. 

Speaking to an Iranian news website, the government of Isfahan said that the explosion occurred as a result of a military drill, denying reports that the blast was somehow related to the nearby nuclear facility. 

"There is no such thing, the blast was entirely from the military maneuver," the Iranian official said. 

The Isfahan uranium conversion plant operates under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and is frequented by its inspectors and surveyed by cameras that broadcast to the IAEA headquarters in Vienna. 

Thus, had the explosion occurred at the nuclear site, the UN's nuclear watchdog would have known of the incident. 

Speaking with Fars news agency earlier Monday, Isfahan’s deputy mayor initially confirmed the reports and said the authorities are investigating the matter. However, after the incident was reported in Israel, the report was taken off the Fars website. 

It seems that city authorities and the Iranian government were embarrassed by the reports of a blasts, releasing contradictory versions of the alleged events. One example is a statement given by the same deputy mayor to the Mehr news agency, saying he had no reports of an explosion.

Japanese Nuclear Plant Rocked by Second Blast - Systems Still Operating as Intended

Despite the premature or false reporting of exposed fuel rods and meltdowns in Japan, the reactors are still containing the nuclear fuel and radiation.  No sign of Nezulla the Rat Monster either.  There have been a couple of hydrogen explosions.

"Explosions have rocked two overheating reactors at the aging Fukushima plant, located 250 kilometers (160 miles) northeast of Tokyo, after the cooling systems were knocked out by Friday's 8.9-magnitude quake. 

A first explosion blew apart the building surrounding the plant's number-one reactor on Saturday but the seal around the reactor itself remained intact, officials said. 

On Monday, shortly after Kan said the plant was still in an 'alarming' state, a blast at its number-three reactor shook the facility, injuring 11 people and sending plumes of smoke billowing into the sky. 

Chief government spokesman Yukio Edano said the plant's operator TEPCO reported the reactor was probably undamaged and there was a low possibility of a major radiation leak at the plant. 

Later Monday the cooling system at the number two reactor failed, Jiji Press reported -- the sort of failure that preceded the explosions in the number one and three reactors. 

Authorities have declared an exclusion zone within a 20-kilometer (12-mile) radius of the plant and evacuated 210,000 people."

Rush Limbaugh opened his show with similar news, along with commentary that the media is hoping for a nuclear disaster.

My observation is the political left, especially those in media, will make the big disaster anything that happens with the nuclear reactors and the earthquake/tsunami will fade to the background.

"The beings have repeated their efforts in the US and have been active since 1948, the men said, and accused the respective governments of trying to keep the information secret.

The unlikely claims were compiled by six former US airmen and another member of the military who interviewed or researched the evidence of 120 ex-military personnel.
The information they have collected suggests that aliens could have landed on Earth as recently as seven years ago.

The men's aim is to press the two governments to recognise the long-standing extra-terrestrial visits as fact.

They are to be presented on Monday 27 September at a meeting in Washington.
One of the men, Capt Robert Salas, said: "The US Air Force is lying about the national security implications of unidentified aerial objects at nuclear bases and we can prove it."
He said said he witnessed such an event first-hand on March 16, 1967, at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana which housed Minuteman nuclear missiles."

CPT Salas' press conference is today at 1230, National Press Club.
This is not the first time the Captain has done this stunt, as the HaroldTribune notes, he tried this in 2001 and got to meet Larry King:

Wanna-Be Venezuelan Spies in New Mexico

The Venezuelan government was not involved. An FBI agent posed as Venezuelan official Luis Ramirez. Argentine born Pedro Mascheroni and his wife Marjorie Roxby Mascheroni approached the agent with a proposal for a nuclear Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) device to kill power in Manhattan, New York.


NPR reports that Pedro Mascheroni was disgruntled about the Department of Energy decision not to fund his pet project in the 1980's and lost his clearance over 20 years ago.


Other reports mention his pet project was a laser-fusion project and he was laid off during a 1980's reduction of force by the agency. He continued to be disgruntled to the point of calling the Department of Energy his enemy and having that in common with Hugo Chavez, leader of Venezuela.


Both reports say that documents related to the case were unsealed on September 17, 2010. SmokingGun.Com has not posted them yet.


Pedro was still in jail at the time of the reports. Marjorie was released by a judge and is under heavy surveillance.

And Mascheroni had other plans for Hugo Chavez's government, court documents say. He suggested an explosion over New York that could produce an "electromagnetic pulse" to knock out the metropolis' electrical power and a laser that could blind satellites; in Venezuela, a secret underground reactor for enriching uranium below an open, above-ground nuclear power plant, along with an underground facility for undetectable tests of "micro-bombs"; and making Venezuela Latin America's defense "umbrella" able to retaliate against attacks with nuclear bombs.

In a departure from the other stories, they say the FBI agent used the name "Luis Jimenez".

At Long Last, finally decided why the world attacks Iran and have it in the book

Earlier this week I finally decided how the world finally came around to doing something about Iran in the early 2030s. I wrote it into General Sasha Klein's lines as she talks to John's son, Tag, the USA JAG liaison to an IDF Commando unit that has already infiltrated Iran.

The issue centers around Iran's alternate target list for their ICBMs, with side issues of Israel and Gaza lving in peace and becoming major trading partners (in the future, national trading partners are measured by transactions between individuals across political borders). There is also an issue with Iran needing to hit targets outside of their missile capabilities and they have already launched their alternate delivery system.
