Storm Names: Danielle and Fiona
The tropical storm/hurricane names this year are distracting.
Current hurricane, Danielle, is shared by my recently passed away editor Danielle DiCamello and an upcoming storm will be named Fiona, a name shared by my cover artist designer.

Suki With A Twist: Suki's Street

Danielle was excited about the outline the last time we saw each other in person. She had some changes and suggestions that I incorporated. Before she passed away, I told her and the others on the project that I was stuck on the "Part Two" I was writing at around the 19,000 word mark, I was going to adapt "Part Three" and move it up to become "Part Two."
Her favorite was Suki With A Twist: Part One, with her second favorite the second book in the original series (much different than current series), Suki II: Sunshine Returns (a free read at the link).

Best Friend and Editor is Gone
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. My best friend and Editor of the Suki series, Danielle DiCamello, died in her sleep night before last. You should recognize her name from the book covers and mentions in Author's notes.
I am working on something more appropriate to replace this note with. Writing without her is difficult.
