"As the rising tide of questions concerning Presidential eligibility placed increasing pressure on Hawaii officials to provide documentation, Abercrombie, as a friend of the family, reports that he took it upon himself to personally do some digging into state records in order to disprove the charge made by 'birthers' that Barack Obama is not a natural born U.S. citizen.

But Abercrombie's search culminated in the exact opposite of the intended result. The Governor now admits that there is no record whatsoever in Hawaii that Barack Obama was born in the state.

This YouTube audio of a radio program will reveal Abercrombie's stunning admission."

"Further, the documentation that has already been released that supposedly proves Obama was born in Hawaii is actually a certificate of live birth, which state officials admit is a form given to those not born in the state but who need a statement of birth for legal purposes."

I and my best friends have been the most supportive people for President Obama on this issue, no matter how critical we have been about him on other issues.  He needs to put out the evidence or suffer the consequences.

Mayoral Poll 72% Want Emanuel on Ballot: Chicago Retail Merchants Association (CRMA)

Currently, Rahm Emanuel's eligibility status to run for Mayor of Chicago is in question. The case is now before the Supreme Court of Illinois.

"Nearly 72 percent of respondents say Emanuel's name should be a choice on the Feb. 22 mayoral ballot while 23 percent say it should not.

Assuming Emanuel's name does appear on the ballot, the poll found Emanuel favored by 52 percent of respondents, an increase of nearly 8 points since the December 20 poll. His closest rival, former school board president Gery Chico, garnered 14.4 percent while former Senator Carol Moseley-Braun received 11 percent. Emanuel's lead of 37.5 points is well outside the poll's margin of error of 2.05 points. About 16 percent of voters were uncertain who they would vote for, nearly unchanged since December."

The Illinois Supreme Court has ordered Rahm Emanuel's name back on the Chicago mayoral ballot pending a possible hearing of an appeals court ruling, the Chicago Sun-Timesreports, quoting Emanuel's attorneys.

Translation: his name is being printed on the ballots again, but he may not be in the election.

Rahm Emanuel has been knocked off the mayoral ballot after an Appellate Court overturned a ruling in his residency case.

The court ruled that Emanuel did not meet the residency requirement for eligible candidates.

“We conclude that the candidate neither meets the the municipal code’s requirement that he have ‘resided’ in Chicago for the year preceding the election in which he seeks to participate nor falls within any exception to the requirement.”
