"A Norwegian parliamentarian has nominated Wikileaks founder Julian Assange for the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize, saying his publication of thousands of secret government documents has helped to promote human rights, democracy and freedom of speech.

'Most recently, by disclosing the economic arrangements by the presidential family in Tunisia, Wikileaks have made a small contribution to bringing down a 24-year-lasting dictatorship.'

Valen acknowledged the controversy surrounding Wikileaks' actions but insisted the whistleblower organization was working for the public interest."

Before the Mideast unrest is over, expect representatives from CAIR/Muslim Brotherhood to be in competition with Assange, along with Bradley Manning.

"Ecuador appears to be modifying its offer of unconditional residency to the embattled founder of the online whistle-blower WikiLeaks.

Foreign Minister Ricardo Patino said in a TV interview Tuesday that the possibility 'will have to be studied from the legal and diplomatic perspective.'"

They really are "Venezuela lite" aren't they? Why would any country offer this person asylum?

At least the Guardian is being marginally more responsible than WikiLeaks. They are not publishing the "summary field" from the data, in an effort to protect people from reprisal.  They used Google Fusion Tables to map the locations where people were reported killed.

Meanwhile, Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet interviewed the woman who leveled the molestation claim: 'The accusations against Assange are of course not orchestrated by the Pentagon or anybody else. Responsibility for what happened to myself and the other girl lies with a man who has a skewed attitude to women and a problem taking no for an answer.'"

"Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has signed on as a columnist for Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet. Why such a move? Maybe there's something more to be found in Swedish law when you are employed by a newspaper."

In case you forgot about the WikiLeaks little gem of deception, how about looking at the rebuttal for a dose of truth.





Why don't they hire Major Hasan, Jihad Jane, and every other treasonous jerk out there - in addition to the WikiTerrorist too?

No direct series tie-in, other than I hope whenever doctored video comes out it is countered with the truth quickly. Also, national security is tighter but not as much is classified in the future.
