Obama, Caretaker of America, Missing Another Crisis

As the Obama Administration continues to apply jackboot pressure to the 'neck' of BP, his own back yard (not as figuratively as you may think and that map will change as power is restored).
 
Tens of thousands of Maryland and Washington, DC residents are without power, now entering day three after a thunderstorm took down much of the power grid.  Interestingly enough, the more free-market leaning Commonwealth of Virginia havd very few without power and it was restored in short order.  For example, my Arlington County neighborhood did not lose power at all.  However, the utility grid for my neighborhood is underground.
 
Some Maryland counties were not so lucky, by their own doing.  They have above ground power lines and prohibit the power company from trimming trees around those lines.  Result? Their love of trees and nature destroyed miles of power lines and scores of transformers.  Who do they blame for their self imposed misfortune? The power company, of course.

Congress went Maoboma today.  Fucking EAT ME!  Yes, in that whole Sam Kinison manner.  If I am going to hell, it is worth it.

The congress ignored their people and enacted National Socialism.  Fucking bastards.  Thanksl, you retarded pricks.  Most of you have no fucking clue what you did, the rest know exactly what you did.  Every yea voter needs to rot in fucking hell.  Socialized healthcare is not coming out of your elite pocket, it is coming from mine and the other regular people.  Fuck you again.

Thanks.  Now that when I get sick enough to need help, no GOOD doctors will be around.  No GOOD drugs will be available.  No GOOD anything will be in the USA because you fuckheads ran it all off.

Maybe New York will succeed and we can be done with them?

Michigan to get $224 million in clean energy credits

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama unveiled Friday $2.3 billion in tax credits for manufacturing clean energy goods, including $224 million for Michigan factories to boost solar cell and wind turbine production.

The credits were part of the $787-billion economic stimulus package the Obama administration shepherded through Congress last year and were aimed at production of parts for wind turbines, solar panels and other energy-saving technology.

The credits are good for 30% of the investment; the White House said the credits would be matched by more than $5 billion in private spending.

Obama said the credits "will help close the clean energy gap that has grown between America and other nations while creating good jobs, reducing our carbon emissions and increasing our energy security."

In Michigan, the largest tax credit was won by Hemlock Semiconductor, which was granted a $141.9-million tax break to expand its solar panel plant in Hemlock.

Eight other firms won credits ranging from $300,000 to $27.3 million.

Speaking of con artists,  . . .  Oh, gentle reader, didn't you know that terrorists are most always con artists too?  Not every con artist is a terrorist, of course.  The presidential party crashing weirdos tried to pay a debt with a fake watch.

WASHINGTON — A couple that crashed a White House party turned over a watch to pay a landscaping debt, but a jeweler is saying it's a fake luxury timepiece.


Tareq Salahi last week gave up his Patek Phillipe watch and his lawyer said it would be worth more than enough to pay a $2,000 debt to a landscaper.

But a Pennsylvania watch expert says its an imitation. Ray Cosey, owner of R E Jewelers Watch & Clock in Chambersburg, Pa., said Thursday the watch might be worth $100.

Cosey says the watch could probably be bought on the street for less.

It turns out the watch wasn't needed. An attorney for the landscaper says a check was delivered Monday for $2,063.55 and will cover the bill.

A judge ordered the watch released.
