Reason Writers Around Town: Shikha Dalmia on American Toleration and the Ground-Zero "Mosque" - Hit & Run : Reason Magazine:

It is painfully obvious that opposition to the Cordoba House, notes Reason Foundation Senior Analyst Shikha Dalmia, is motivated less by a desire to protect the memory of 9/11 victims and more by a knee-jerk suspicion of Muslims.
The only 'painfully obvious' thing here is the writer taking one instance of inflammatory behavior from a terrorist supporting imam and extending that reaction to the rest of non-muslim America. At the same time, she is amazed that Americans are not torching mosques.
